Join Fortune 7 CVS Health in a QA leadership position at our Buffalo Grove, IL Location. As an Advisor, Test Automation, you will lead Test Automation Framework activities for Adjudication Data Management (ADM) applications, such as Drug, Prescriber, Eligibility, Vendor Transition, and Pharmacy. This is a very important role within the Adjudication Data Management team. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Leadership Team and the IT QA Functional Leads on key Automation testing activities. You will be the Technical Subject Matter Expert on integrated applications and end to end testing, but will not have any direct reports. A successful candidate is an innovative thinker with track record of demonstrated leadership qualities who will ensure that defined QA Processes are implemented in all aspects of project oversight (plan, design, implement, execute, evaluate) and drive efficiency improvements through the use of automation across the team. As part of the Adjudication Data Management Team, you will also research and recommend new technologies for QA including automation tools. The IT Quality Assurance Advisor, Test Automation should be able to actively participate in leadership meetings and project discussions and should be able to contribute to strategic planning and execution of all QA management tasks.
Additional responsibilities of the IT Quality Assurance Advisor, Automation include:
- Responsible for Test Automation Strategy and Design for Legacy and Web Based systems using HP UFT/QTP, CA DEVTEST , Selenium and Java and industry defined frameworks
- Review end-to-end critical program system enhancements, repeatable test data activities, reporting functions and regression test cases and develop automation flow to increase efficiencies on the client programs
- Develop test automation estimates, timelines, project plans and reporting to ensure automation project budget and timelines are met
- Architect Test Automation Frameworks across multiple applications and technology and enable automation to be executed end-end for testing
- Ability to define, present, coach across diverse IT organizations on key concepts of Automation Development, Test Execution and educate Senior Leadership and Individual resources on benefits of Test Automation as part of Software efficiency
- Develop standardized modular, re-usable and scalable test automation frameworks across multiple domains
- Developing and leading testing strategies
- Performing complex work flow analysis
- Acquiring and disseminating project information and quality status to internal and external partners
- Establish and ensure adherence to quality assurance testing directions, standards, guidelines and methodologies
- Leading of projects or a program to successful quality delivery

Required Qualifications
5+ years' experience in IT Quality Assurance
3+ years' experience with HANDS ON automation.
3+ years' experience in leading IT QA processes, projects and implementing automation in SDLC

Preferred Qualifications
Selenium and QTP/UFTHealthcare industry experience with PBM background
Experience with AGILE
Experience with CI/CD and using test automation with advanced tools
Experience using complex SQL queries
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience with AS400
Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment while being highly self-motivated and self-directed
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business language
Experience in Implementing Several efficiency initiatives and Process optimization

Education
Associates Degree Required
Bachelor's in related field preferred
